Shelly Hong is a filmmaker who started out as an actor but has since been writing, producing and working in commercial production for the past 17 years. Such a Small Thing is her directorial debut and she was reminded why she got into this gosh forsaken business in the first place – for the love of creating. She lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband and kid.
